Here we are, at the 20 week mark of pregnancy! Every day we can find something that we wish was going in a different direction or find what is right, but this week the focus is on all that we have and all that we can be thankful for. We have so much going on and so much to look forward to, I strive to remember this daily...
20 Weeks! The baby is roughly the size of a banana... so amazing... We had hopes that we would get a glimpse at baby this upcoming week, but after our last doctor appointment it was decided to have us wait until 24 weeks. So I guess that will be our Christmas gift! Feeling movements is becoming more regular and again a reminder to be thankful for our girls and now for this little one!
Emma had a great end to her bowling season! She received an All Honors Award from the West Central South conference! Of course I missed the awards ceremony and didn't get any pictures of my own, but we do have a group shot of all the award winners from the conference. Emma and Jacob Anderson of the YME bowling team were both recipients of the award. Other teams in their conference included Willmar, Alexandria, Montevideo and Benson.
Early this morning Emma left for a weekend servant retreat with her confirmation class. I can't wait to hear the stories of everything they saw and did and who they helped. However, it will be a long weekend without her home! She will return home on Sunday afternoon!
Bob has been busy trying to get all the projects done outside that he can before the possible snow tomorrow, but by the looks of the forecast for next week, there will be time yet to finish everything that needs to be done before winter really sets in. This will be a busy week ahead of us as we finish cleaning out the store. Sounds like the final sale of the property is finally days away. This will be a good thing, but still will mark the final closure on this part of our lives... of course there are all the boxes of merchandise filling what is supposed to become my office and a bedroom in the basement to help us remember. Christmas gifts anyone?! Then of course is the anticipation of getting the "opportunity" to work on Black Friday. I told him he'll be too busy to realize how tired he is. Luckily he didn't get scheduled to work the really early shift... but they're having a huge appliance deal that day - check it out!
And how can I not mention the incredible person we met Sunday night! What a joy (and relief) to meet Cariann who absolutely fell in love with our rabbit Kubel, bought him and took him home! She's been an absolute joy for her and couldn't make us happier to know he is in excellent care. He has become a house bunny and already impressed Cariann by showing understanding of using a litter box after one day! This week we'll be watching and waiting for some new litters to arrive and hope for good results!
So this week, take time every day to recognize one thing you are thankful for, I bet by Thursday you'll have a long list and recognition of how blessed you are...
